Mining for gold

After about 5 hours of patiently tapping and chipping  away to find the gold pieces hidden within the block of plaster, the girls discovered, gold. Fool's gold that is!  I didn't have the heart to tell them all they needed to do was to dump in a pail of water and they wouldn't have had to chip away for so long. But what would have been the fun of that? Some things shouldn't be easy, that's what makes life and our journey through life so precious! Sometimes the process is the best part or at least the part we learn the most!
